On 29 December 2025, a Ukrainian Air Force Antonov An-26 transport aircraft made a notable visit to Eindhoven Airport. The twin-turboprop aircraft, a familiar workhorse of Antonov’s regional and military transport fleet, attracted attention from aviation enthusiasts and airport visitors alike.

The An-26 is widely used for cargo transport, logistical support, and humanitarian missions, and its appearance at Eindhoven Airport underscored the airport’s ongoing role in accommodating a wide range of military and government-related flights alongside its civilian operations.

While official details regarding the purpose of the visit were not publicly disclosed, the aircraft’s arrival and departure were handled routinely, with no disruption to regular airport traffic. The visit added to Eindhoven Airport’s diverse aviation activity and highlighted continued international cooperation within European airspace.
