On May 29th 2017 a United States Navy (USN) Lockheed C-130T Hercules visited Rotterdam Airport to spend the night. The Hercules started his day at Aldergrove, Northern Ireland and flew directly to Hamburg, Germany to end his trip at Rotterdam Airport, The Netherlands. This C-130T Hercules is assigned to Fleet Logistics Support Squadron 62 or VR-62, nicknamed the Nomads and is operating the Lockheed C-130T from NAS Jacksonville, Florida. The mission of VR-62 is to provide rapid response, global air logistics and support to U.S. Maritime Forces.
