AMARG January 2026 Summary:

  • This month’s notes:
15 A‑10s have been reclassified as “Pending Arrival” and therefore no longer appear on the “Stored Aircraft” inventory. They remain in Area 17 for temporary storage prior to induction, due to the shutdown of the 924th FG.

One C‑130H and two MH‑60Rs have reappeared on the inventory list after having been removed in 2025. Their earlier removal was most likely an error.

The disposal of S‑3s is accelerating, with no fewer than 23 being removed.

F‑15D 82‑0044 arrived from Kingsley Field Air National Guard Base in Klamath Falls, Oregon, where it most recently served as an instructional aircraft.

F‑16C 89‑2023 has been added to the list. On 17 Nov 2023, this aircraft sustained serious damage when the right side of the F‑16 was engulfed in fire, so the remains have probably arrived in crates to be stored for future use.

H‑60 05‑27048 used to be an inmate of AMARG between 2013 and 2017, when it was still a UH‑60L. It left AMARG in August 2017 to be converted to an HH‑60G.
